History
The history of MBK Language Center.
- Madhu Bhasha Kendra has been teaching Hindi classes in the Bay Area since 1987.
- Four year Hindi for Credit program for secondary students got approved by UC System and Fremont Unified School District in May 2007.
- ‘For Credit Hindi’ is now approved by Fremont Unified, Palo Alto Unified, Saratoga, FUHSD (Cupertino), Milpitas and Pleasanton.
- Over 400 students have completed ‘For Credit Hindi’ program as World language for high school since 2010.
- Program has grown to more than 22 groups of elementary level classes (preK – 6th), 4 groups of high school Hindi (7th-12th) and multiple groups of conversational Hindi.
- Program currently runs at 8 different locations.
- Average class size for preK-6th is 6 students per teacher, and 12 per teacher for high school.
- There are 7 well trained and highly qualified language teachers working with MBK Language Center.
