HINDI FOR CREDIT

It all started back in 2000, and after many meetings with Dr. Duarte Silva, Director of CLTA (California Language Teacher Association), and lot of revisions and paperwork, curriculum for Hindi I, Hindi II and Hindi III was finally approved by UC System in May 2007, and we started our first batch of students in 2007-08 school year in Fremont. Curriculum for Hindi IV was also approved by UC System.

Please Note: All accredited Hindi classes for the 2026-27 school year are being offered in hybrid mode, with virtual class meeting for weekday class, and in-person for the weekend class.

NON-CREDIT ELEMENTARY

Curriculum for elementary levels is structured with a focus on developing conversational skills. Learning to read and write opens up many doors for the learners, like building confidence in speaking and learning from the stories and poems.

Basics of Hindi script and grammar are introduced. By the end of the year, students are able to read simple phrases, stories and poems, and introduce themselves in 8-10 sentences.

Non-Credit Elementary Hindi – Locations & Times (2026-27)

Offering limited private and semi private classes through Virtually and/or In-Person.

CONVERSATIONAL HINDI PROGRAM

Conversational Hindi for Adults – Locations & Times (2026-27)

Virtual or In-Person Customized Private lessons (1:1) or Semi-Private Lessons (2-3 students) can be scheduled for 10 hours, over 10-15 weeks for 1 hour per week or more.

Enrollment is required 2 weeks prior to the start of the session.
